What types of employment does Hays offer?
Hays offers different possibilities – for customers and business partners:
- Contracting: This is a classic contracting relationship. Freelancers enter into a project contract with Hays and work on behalf of Hays for our clients on temporary projects.
- Staff leasing: Our candidates receive a temporary employment contract with Hays (Switzerland) Ltd. As an employer, we send our specialists to our client.
Does Hays also place candidates abroad?
Yes, Hays places candidates worldwide and we are well networked with our international colleagues.
How quickly does Hays react to customer requests?
Depending on the complexity of the request, the customer will receive a suitable candidate CV either on the day of the request or the next working day. Furthermore, we keep our customers fully up-to-date on all developments regarding their requests throughout the full life cycle of the recruitment process.

I have not found a suitable project or job on your website. Can I still submit an application?
The offers you see on our website represent only a portion of the total number of jobs we have on offer. Because of the close contacts we maintain with our customers, job vacancies often arise at very short notice. Many of these customer enquiries are extremely time critical, and so it is not possible to post these projects and positions on our homepage.
This makes it all the more important that we are always aware of your availability and have an up-to-date copy of your CV. Therefore, it is always advisable to be proactive and apply with Hays.

Why do you require such a detailed qualifications profile / such detailed application information?
Hays wants to match you as quickly as possible with jobs that correspond to your areas of expertise. Accordingly, it is possible that you receive an invitation to a job interview shortly after submitting your application. The amount of time it takes until you are invited to a job interview particularly depends on the position, the job profile and the needs of our customers.
How can I best prepare for a job interview?

Is there a fixed location of assignment?
The specialists and executive managers placed by us perform their services in accordance with the project requirements, usually on site at the customer's premises. Irrespective of the location of assignment, we also offer remote support in coordination with the customer.

We take the greatest care to ensure that we fill every project with the right candidate. That means we only fill positions with candidates whose abilities and interests correspond to our customers' needs.
