Basic Engineering for Petrochemical Plants (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Prepare P&IDs, instrument datasheets, Cause & Effect, and basic design guides
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Perform safety studies (e.g. LOPA, HAZOP)
- Reporting to project management
Profile
- Familiar with the functionality of Control Systems (e.g. PLC, DCS, ESD)
- Knowledge about the used equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps, valves. etc.)
- Knowledge about material of construction and pipe classes
- Master’s degree in engineering (MSc/Dipl.-Ing.), in Process Engineering or equivalent
- Several years of experience in plant engineering (minimum 5 years)
- Knowledge of different disciplines (e.g., process, instrumentation, safety) is necessary
- Technical expertise in petrochemical processing plants (e.g. Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Ethylene Cracker Units)
- Team lead experience is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in global project execution of process plants
