Bio Process Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards
- Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area
- Lead of one or more defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expressions systems
- In charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. capture, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from either mammalian or microbial cells
- Responsible for entire processes or process units for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic BioConjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates
Profile
- Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production
- Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography)
- Working experience in biomanufacturing would be an advantage
- GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology
- Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage
