DNP Denmark is owned by Japan-based Dai Nippon Printing Ltd. They work together to produce components for the Energy Sector. From DNP Denmark, they deliver specialist foils that are used as components in Solar Panels and for Lithium Batteries in Electrical Cars. They work continuously to improve all aspects of production process. Other business areas include the distribution business where they offer sales support for film products manufactured by the parent company in Japan to the EU market, the digital signage business, selling displays and software to manage the contents in each display, and the projection screen business.

Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager at DNP Denmark, you will play a crucial role in their global operations. You will be responsible for financial reporting, strategic influence and being an integral part of the management team. The offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company’s success during its transformation phase. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of period accounts and annual accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with auditors for audit preparation and execution.
  • Prepare weekly sales forecasts to support budget planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports.
  • Manage transfer pricing with annual documentation.
  • Oversee plant file management.
  • Handle advance registration and tax returns, providing audit support.
  • Maintain and develop the ERP system (Dynamics 365).
  • Prepare accruals, VAT, and provisions.
  • Control and reconcile monthly payroll runs.
  • Manage intermediate bills.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, including raw material and finished goods inventory management.
  • Manage liquidity and budgeting processes (every 6 months).
  • Prepare half-year and end-of-year reports, including transfer pricing.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to the group company in Japan.
  • Manage insurance policies.
  • Report and follow up on KPIs and related actions with production and sales teams.
  • Assist with important hands-on accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with management on deviations and reporting.
  • Explain deviations and develop action plans to address them.

Profile

  • Extensive finance experience in a global manufacturing company.
  • Proven maturity and experience to effectively join and contribute to the management team.
  • Highly enthusiastic, positive, and energetic individual.
  • Independent, self-driven, and motivated.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles within global and manufacturing companies.
  • Experience leading a team (e.g., finance assistant).
  • Keen interest in taking on broad responsibilities and making a significant impact on the company’s success.
