SW Development Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Develop software for high-speed cameras using C++, Python and Matlab
- Perform general systems tasks and integrate hardware and software
- Support testing and trials, and develop software to support applications
- Understand concepts according to optics and produce software to support it
- Work on various software development kits for the embedded system
- Handle system engineering tasks that are more application-focused. Support development (software, hardware) of a lightweight camera-based system, termed SFV light, for precision and accuracy estimation of defence systems on a test field
Profile
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree with an engineering background, preferably with experience in physics and mathematics
- Profound experience with C++ and Python/Matlab programming languages
- Relevant experience with diverse projects, but not necessarily in the same field
- Ability to work efficiently in a team
- Fluent in English, whereas German is an advantage
- Experience with mathematical 3D modelling, optimization and geometry
- Experience working on different projects and the ability to apply knowledge to new context
